**About the Role**

The Project Consultant is a core member at the top of the Project Delivery Team, focusing on overall client satisfaction through successful project planning initiatives, being the key point of contact for clients, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will oversee multiple projects with 2-3 project engineers reporting to you, each making a 2-person team per project that will act as a key point of contact with clients. The role is a hybrid of Project Management, along with technical consultation of clients and internal resources for delivery. The role will start as in-office during the onboarding and training period and will transition to Enginuity’s Hybrid Work Policy. **Responsibility Components**
- Coordinates and manages Project Engineer(s) for technical correctness of projects
- Ensures compliance with Enginuity’s Operational Quality Program and Standard Operating Procedure
- Proactively ‘steers’ projects and ensures effective change management with regards to internal and external stakeholders, as pertaining to scope of work, budgets, resources, project plan, SAAs, and managing ‘scope creep’
- Facilitates team meetings within own department and across other functions, to ensure collaborative problem solving, critical thinking, process improvements and client satisfaction
- Oversees site construction and commissioning
- Actively uses and monitors the company’s ERP System and other reporting software, reports, and tools to ensure accurate tracking of project timelines, budgets, and resources applied
- Manages financial activities of the project including ensuring billable hours are managed appropriately and with client transparency, tracking revenue, issuing invoices, and recovering receivables
- Fully understands and manages the technical, regulatory, and contractual requirements of projects
- Leads and facilitates the development of project delivery (technical & other) strategy with sequence of plans and activities
- Navigates through project technicalities, client expectations, and liabilities through active management
- Persuades clients and other stakeholders on technical decisions and recommendations
- Convinces clients of the need for scope and services outlined in SAAs and SAs (where applicable)
- Distinguishes between client ‘needs’, vs. client ‘wants’ and determines project path
- Ensures client and project requirements and needs are in conformance with regulatory requirements
- Responsible for managing the performance and development of direct reports; Review and approval of timesheets, PTO, time-off requests
- Guides & supports the PEs for the successful delivery of their technical responsibilities
- Partners with the Director of Operations and Director of Business Development to identify new business opportunities while ensuring overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations are achieved while enhancing Enginuity’s focus on living our values
- Actively participates in presenting workshops, networking, and professional association events to enhance and maintain Enginuity’s brand in the marketplace and to continue our philosophy of integrating with our clients and our professional community of practice
- Partners with theProject Development Team to provide input to proposal scopes, estimates, budgets, and budget negotiation of SAAs with clients

**Your Knowledge and Skills**
- Relevant and proven industry knowledge and experience within Engineering Consulting Services with a solid understanding and experience in supervising and collaborating with Mechanical, Structural, Civil, and Electrical engineers
- Understanding of building design and construction processes, codes, standards, and protocols
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products including collaboration tools, Microsoft Project, MS Teams, and One Note
