Technical Sales Rep

Location: Canada – must live near a major airport

Reports to: Territory Manager

Compensation: $65K - $75K plus generous bonus

Travel: 75%+


Requirements & Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Rep:

  • 5+ years of heavy industrial experience, preferably in a field service maintenance or construction trade environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude. Engineering, welding, or millwright background, preferred.
  • Customer focused, honest, transparent, autonomous, and accountable.
  • Strong problem-solving, strategy, and sales abilities.
  • Exceptional ambition and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
  • Canadian citizenship and passport
  • Travel to client and potential client sites to learn about their plants and help find solutions to achieve reliability and performance from their rotary processing equipment (kilns, dryers, and grinding mills).
  • Build relationships, make connections, and develop customers.
  • Organize and quote field service jobs, including equipment installations, maintenance, rework, and retrofits.
  • Prioritize quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
