Position Summary:


As a Brow + Makeup Expert, your primary role is to deliver high-quality treatments and services to Gee Beauty clients, ensuring an exceptional experience. Upholding the Gee Beauty CORE values of communication, human connection, and trust is imperative in every client interaction. In addition, you play a vital role in recommending and selling products based on client needs, with a keen focus on staying updated on product knowledge and complying with company policies. Your ability to educate clients about our products not only enhances their overall experience but also contributes significantly to meeting sales goals, making it an integral part of your responsibilities. This role encourages creativity and innovation in your craft, emphasizing the importance of client engagement and sales expertise.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Client Services:

  • Perform various services for clients, including brow shaping, brow tinting, lash tinting, brow and lash lifts, facial threading, makeup services, and sales of Gee Beauty products.
  • Meet daily targets set by the company.
  • Prepare for the day ahead with bookings and product knowledge.
  • Continuously update product knowledge and stay educated on new trends in your field.
  • Enhance client services and engagement skills continuously.
  • Notify the Manager of client concerns and issues as they arise.
  • Be a reliable source to clients on current inventory.
  • Use non-client time to educate yourself on products and research inventory levels.
  • Inform Management of educational seminars you would like to take.
  • Attend all company training sessions and events.
  • Adhere to Gee Beauty presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with team members.
  • Consistent outreach and engagement with previous and current clients, ensure clients are re-booking, ensure your calendar is full.


Client Experience:

  • Prioritize the client and provide superior customer service, consultations, and treatments.
  • Welcome clients when they enter the studio.
  • Communicate effectively with clients during services.
  • Encourage clients to purchase the items you are using.
  • Ensure client return dates.
  • Use company tools and resources to build client loyalty and grow sales.
  • Lead client service interactions with kindness, gratitude, inclusivity, warmth, knowledge, and trust.


General Studio Standards:

  • Prepare brow stations for daily services.
  • Ensure makeup stock is present at each station.
  • Set up makeup at the station on the counter for client recommendations.
  • Maintain the workstation in a state of cleanliness between clients.
  • Assist in the care of the studio when not with a client (ensuring cleanliness, emptying garbage, checking restrooms, checking stock levels).
  • Comply with and uphold all health and safety regulations.
  • Comply with and uphold all studio policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professionalism at all times.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of Makeup Artistry experience
  • At least 1 year of eyebrow threading/shaping and tinting experience
  • At least 1 year of lash lift and tint experience
  • Experience in a salon, studio or retail environment is preferred
