Adecco is currently recruiting for a Clinical Contracts manager for a 12 month on site contract with a possibility of extension. This role is with our client in Ottawa, ON.

The Clinical Contracts and Payment Associate will be responsible for:

  • contracts and budgets with research sites, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory protocols, and obtaining necessary approvals from senior management for clinical agreements.
  • clinical site payments/financials associated with clinical studies.
  • technical contract language covering items such as indemnification, subject injury language, intellectual property rights, confidentiality, and other similar matters.
  • and resolving differences in contract interpretations between the client and sites and resolving conflicts as necessary.
  • communication of negotiation status using Company IT systems.
  • study site activation timelines utilizing effective negotiation skills resulting in signed executable agreements.
  • integrity of clinical financial data within the clinical database and files, including entering, reviewing, verifying, and organizing incoming financial data.
  • financial data into Company systems utilizing Oracle CSP and SAP programs.
  • accuracy of invoicing and other accounting documents or records for sites.
  • invoices to accounts payable for processing.
  • study expenditures and terms of contracts to ensure compliance with study design.
  • payment letters and correspondence to the site to request invoices.
  • as the primary contact for sites regarding reimbursement issues.

The Clinical Contracts and Payment Associate must meet the following mandatory criteria:

  • be eligible to work and reside within Canada;
  • have a Degree in Business Administration,
  • have a minimum 2 years of experience in contracting, contract negotiations, and skill in redlining documents (Direct knowledge of Clinical Contracting preferred);
  • have experience with MS Office;
  • with SAP and Oracle CSP is preferred;
  • communication skills, both oral and written;
  • to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members and work independently;
  • initiative, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking skills;
