Reporting to the Regulatory Supervisor for Canada Inc, the individual is an integral member of the regulatory team, responsible to support all regulatory requirements for products purchased, manufactured and sold in North American divisions.


Position function

Reporting to the Regulatory Supervisor, the individual will be responsible for supplying responses to requests for product and facility documentation, as well as reaching out to suppliers for technical information to ensure internal documents are up to date for internally used ingredients and resale products. This position is a technical liaison between suppliers/regulatory team, and sales/customers, and will ensure an outstanding level of quality and satisfaction to our customers is achieved.


Major tasks and duties:


  • Coordinate and request technical information (GMO, Prop 65, Etc.) from suppliers
  • Create/update labels for all Canadian and US sites, as required
  • Complete internal and external ticket requests as required
  • Create and maintain technical packages for ingredients and resale products
  • Manage Kosher records for ingredients and resale products
  • Any and all other tasks assigned by Supervisor



Knowledge/Skills and Experience

  • Science Background (Food Science an asset)
  • Working experience with Food Quality and Safety Programs and GMP’s is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of GFSI standards is considered an asset
  • Must be willing to work hands on with operation employees to ensure compliance and comprehension of food safety policies and programs
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Must be able manage multiple priorities and deliver results within expected timeliness
  • Strong attention to detail, computer skills.
  • Must be self-motivated to work with minimal supervision
