Junior Quality Specialist

**Position Title**:JUNIOR QUALITY SPECIALIST
**Reports to**: Quality Manager
**Work Schedule**:Regular Full-Time, Days

**Job Summary**: Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Junior Quality Specialist will maintain all of Allseating’s quality standards and ensure compliance with all requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
The Junior Quality Specialist is responsible for the following:
- Daily monitoring and evaluation of quality in all departments to ensure requirements are met and standards upheld;
- Liaising with Purchasing and vendors to rectify quality issues;
- Preparing and distributing non-conformance, corrective actions, and supplier performance reviews in response to supplier quality;
- Monitoring and analyzing warranty claims from after-market clients;
- Presenting warranty claims information and data at monthly ‘Score Card Meetings’;
- Development and implementation of improvement plans relating to customer satisfaction while reducing the cost of quality at an internal and supplier level;
- Establishing and communicating the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (including preparation and implementation of quality procedures, instruction, and supporting documentation), ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, and BIFMA E3 Environmental Standard (including the preparation and implementation of procedures, work instructions, etc.);
- Conducting audits of the Quality System to determine the system’s effectiveness and compliance with the standard, and reporting results to Executive Management;
- Collecting data in preparation for monthly ‘Score Card Meetings’; and
- Other duties as may be assigned or required.
**Job Requirements**:
- Must have strong computer skills;
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Office suite;
- Must have strong professional business communication skills;
- Must work effectively within a team environment;
- Must be capable of delivering results;
- Must have exemplary time management skills with an ability to prioritize work; and
- Must be able to meet deadlines.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Degree or Diploma in a related discipline;
- 1-3 years experience in a similar role;
- Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001;
- English language proficiency (read/write/speak).
