Our client, a leader in the financial industry is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their team that will help nurture and develop a portfolio within the Automotive (Supply Chain & Equipment Financing) industry. This person will leverage and grow an existing book of business and establish their market presence within GTA West & North. In this position, you will be providing business financing opportunities, as well as collaborate with the organizations Advisory team to offer tailored solutions to support their growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Identifying potential clients within the automotive industry through market research, networking, and targeted outreach to establish new business opportunities.
  • Building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their financing needs, and providing personalized solutions to address their unique challenges.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their challenges and goals and offer expert advice.
  • Keeping abreast of the automotive manufacturing industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the commercial financing landscape to identify new market niches and opportunities.
  • Preparing persuasive proposals and presentations that showcase financing products and advisory services, tailored to each client's requirements.
  • Partnering with internal teams, including underwriters and credit analysts, to ensure seamless execution of financing solutions for our clients.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Specialization in automotive industry and understanding the complexities of the financing requirements are required.
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within the commercial financing or financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills and avid connector able to create long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and solid understanding of the GTA West & North regions
  • Being confident in your knowledge of commercial lending products, financing options, and credit analysis in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage and persuade potential clients effectively.
  • Someone who is curious and enjoys staying on top of the automotive industry trends.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
