Roles and Responsibilities


  • Manage a 350,000 sq. ft portfolio of mixed commercial office and retail properties across Calgary and the surrounding area.
  • Oversee the daily operations and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Manage property budgets, financial performance, and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
  • Implement strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Conduct regular property evaluations to assess needs, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services for the properties.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry changes to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Provide team leadership, guidance, and training, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Prepared and presented reports to senior management on property performance, financials, and operational issues.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in commercial property management.
  • You must have a Valid RECA licence.
  • Strong knowledge of the property management industry, including leasing, maintenance, and financial operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with tenants, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Strong financial reporting experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing property performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives.
