We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated sales representative in the plastic packaging industry, to grow the business and open new markets for the company's products in one of two locations: Toronto and Montreal. The successful candidate will be responsible for several key accounts and experienced with custom orders. This position is also responsible for developing sales by adding new clients.


COMPENSATION

100k base + 3% commission + expenses + benefits


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate sales with existing and new customers
  • Identify and maximize sales opportunities
  • Cold calling, networking, prospecting new clients
  • Build and maintain strong and long relationships with customers
  • Perform professional presentations of company products while on-site
  • Propose relevant and innovative solutions to meet customer needs
  • Assists in long-term strategic planning and budgeting
  • Achieve sales target
  • Review monthly sales reports, and analyze variances with respect to the defined budget
  • Constant communication with HQ and all other departments including Customer Service
  • Convert prospects into customers and achieve sales targets
  • Maintain and develop relationships with our customers and partners
  • Manage order taking
  • Provide after-sales follow-up and support to customers


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience or knowledge of both thermoforming and packaging markets
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Market analysis and competitive intelligence
  • Self-motivated, high energy and engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Customer-focused and able to maintain strong relationships
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and establish priorities
  • Proficient computer skills
