Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious early-career real estate professional looking for hands-on experience and exposure to a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced team environment. This position is designed to be a training ground for future Development Managers, providing continuous growth opportunities and a strong emphasis on learning and development.


Responsibilities

  • Supporting Development Managers with day-to-day development tasks to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Providing general project administrative support, including coordinating documents, maintaining up-to-date project files, and preparing reports.
  • Preparing and updating project schedules and expenditures.
  • Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, recording and distributing minutes.
  • Assisting with contract reviews and processing consultant proposals.
  • Researching and reporting on market and development trends, including local policy changes and municipal requirements.
  • Coordinating and liaising with consultant teams, municipal staff, and other key stakeholders throughout the project schedule.
  • Providing ongoing administrative support to the team as required.
  • Assisting in preparing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Generating reports to support project management and decision-making.
  • Conducting assessments to understand and meet client needs.
  • Procuring and coordinating site studies to support project planning and development.


Skills and Requirements:

  • A relevant post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in Real Estate, Urban Land Economics, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or a related field, and ideally 1-2 years of related real estate experience.
  • A highly motivated self-starter with a keen interest in real estate development and construction management.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize across multiple projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documents and presentations.
  • Strong work ethic with a “get it done” attitude.
  • Willingness to ask questions and solve problems.
  • A “people person” with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
