Position Overview:

As a Territory Sales Representative, you will manage and grow sales within a designated geographic territory. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving sales to meet or exceed targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and increase market share within your assigned territory.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and clients, promoting category and product awareness to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Manage your sales pipeline by nurturing leads and creating plans to achieve revenue and conversion targets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats within your territory.
  • Track and report on sales performance, including progress against targets, customer feedback, and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies and ensure effective communication of promotions and campaigns.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service to enhance the customer experience.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a similar industry or territory-based role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.


Skills:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize competing demands within gas and convenience store retailers and internally.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of driving category leadership sales execution.
  • Enthusiasm for enhancing customer satisfaction and developing relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
