Our products include Optigo Visual Networks, a SaaS solution for troubleshooting and monitoring BACnet-based OT networks, and Optigo Connect, a network hardware and software platform for connecting and managing those networks. Our valued customers include the world’s largest multinational service providers, Fortune 500 companies, and educational institutions.


The Role: We seek a full-time Director of Sales to join our talented team. Under the supervision of our Chief Growth Officer, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading the company’s efforts in building a channel sales strategy with Service Providers among the commercial building automation industry, business development within key accounts, and managing the wider sales organization including Account Executives and Business Development Representatives.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners (Systems Integrators) with the goal of delivering exceptional revenue growth of our software products.
  • Provide training and support to ensure successful onboarding, implementation, and promotion of our solutions within the channel partners’ organizations.
  • Implement a sales playbook to assist the sales team in quicker qualification of prospects while accelerating pipeline and revenue growth. 
  • Foster a high-performance environment by ensuring accountability against sales and lead generation targets. 
  • Develop and manage a strategic book of business among high-value end user customers.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and pipeline development to senior management.
  • Mentor business development representatives to create a strong culture of internal professional development and sales bench strength.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in technical sales, business development, or consulting within the commercial building automation industry;
  • Strong experience building and growing sales through channel partnerships;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • A proven track record for team building, coaching, motivating, strategic thinking, business acumen, and achievement of sales objectives;
  • Personable demeanor and compelling presentation skills with a natural ability to engage and persuade an audience; and
  • Ability to travel to events and conferences 2-3 times per year.

Additional Desired Skills:

  • Understanding of the BACnet protocol and/or other operational technology networking protocols such as Modbus, LON, etc.
  • Knowledge of and strong networking relationships with key stakeholders in the industry such as building owners, systems integrators, and facility managers.
  • Experience working with CRM software (HubSpot or similar).
  • Experience with social selling and using sales tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo).
  • B2B SaaS experience.


Compensation: 100k-130k Base Salary + Commissions and stock options
