The Greater Victoria School District is looking to hire a Cafeteria Assistant and School Meal Assistant to assist the Culinary Arts / Cook Training Teacher with the operation of the school cafeteria. QUALIFICATIONS The successful applicant must possess: Grade 12 Professional Cook Level 1 Food Safe I & II Serving it Right Certifications Valid BC driver’s license One year specific experience in the food and beverage industry This is a temporary position from September 16, 2024 to June 26, 2025 or return of the incumbent. This position works 20 hours per week as a Cafeteria Assistant at a pay rate of $31.23 plus 13% in lieu of benefits and 11 hours per week as a School Meal Assistant at a pay rate of $28.02 plus 13% in lieu of benefits.
