About the Role
Based in the BC lower mainland, the College is seeking to hire a certified change management professional with at over 5 years of multi-sector experience spearheading organizational change and creating a comprehensive change management program/office that encompasses people and culture to take on the temporary full-time position of Enterprise Change Manager (ECM) for a 2-year term.
This new position is responsible for leading and managing organizational change efforts to ensure smooth transitions across the organization. Using proven change management methodologies, the ECM supports the realization of project goals, works collaboratively to minimize resistance, and is a forerunner for fostering a culture of adaptability across the College. Reporting to the Business Transformation Director, the ECM works with all levels of the organization to support change readiness, communication, and training, ensuring changes are implemented efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategy Development – Develop a comprehensive change management framework for the College; and lead the development of a multi-year organizational strategy that integrates people and culture changes to enhance adaptability and engagement.
• Collaboration – Work with cross-functional teams, and various departments to ensure smooth execution of change initiatives; and engage and secure support from partners at all levels for change management initiatives, enhancing understanding and collaboration.
• Readiness Assessments – Conduct change readiness assessments to evaluate organizational preparedness for upcoming changes.
• Training Delivery – Develop and deliver change management training to the organization.
• Integration with the Program Management Office – Seamlessly integrate insights and frameworks into the PMO's broader strategy and day-to-day operations; and work with Project Managers and Business Analysts to embed change management into every phase of the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the ERM Unit – Ensure change management processes are aligned with risk mitigation strategies; embed risk awareness into change initiatives, ensuring all project phases consider potential risks and risk management techniques; and provide support for ERM initiatives by incorporating change management frameworks to minimize resistance and ensure smooth implementation.
• Progress Monitoring – Monitor and report on the progress of the College’s change maturity.
• Storytelling with Data – Possess a unique skill set of translating data-driven findings into compelling narratives. This involves not just understanding the data but also crafting a story that engages, informs, and influences decision-makers.
• Data Presentation – Expertly present data visually using charts, graphs, and other visualization tools, ensuring that both technical and non-technical audiences can grasp the significance of the data and its implications.
• Integrated Change Management Strategies – Ensure that both organizational and project-specific change management strategies are cohesively aligned.
• Environmental Analysis – Conduct in-depth environmental scans to understand the evolving land-scape, considering both external and internal data points.
• Standardized Change Management Practices – Align with best practise standards, ensuring consistency in change management strategy and execution across the College.
• Partners Communication – Collaborate with various partners, using data to support discussions, high-light concerns, and guide decision-making.
• Resource Recommendations – Provide data-informed suggestions on resource allocation, optimizing outcomes at every level.
• Engagement with Health Authorities and other Partners – Use data to guide collaborations with health regulatory bodies and other College partners, ensuring a synchronization of change management practices.
• Post-Project Analysis - After project completion, contribute data-backed insights to the "lessons learned" repository, refining both future project and organizational change management strategies.
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Change Management, Psychology, or a related discipline with over 5 years of multi-sector experience spearheading organizational change and creating a comprehensive change management program/office that encompasses people and culture (and/or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Certification in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI, Certified Change Management Professional) is required.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field is an asset.
• Experience working in a leadership role, guiding teams through change, and facilitating organizational adaptability.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or regulatory environment is an asset.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools is preferred and beneficial.
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively to various levels within an organization.
• Knowledge of change management frameworks and understanding of best practices.
• Capacity to interpret and execute approved policies, strategic directions, and operational functions within the scope of change management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and reconcile differing perspectives, develop consensus, and secure cooperation from partners and team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional (Intermediate to Advanced level) and other relevant data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical skills, strong detail orientation and a drive for accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with an ability to maintain a high-performing team.
• Emotional intelligence, approachability, and active listening skills.

What We Offer
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 annually based on a 35-hour work week.
The starting salary will be determined based on factors such as the successful candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience; salaries of other employees in the same salary range; market conditions and other relevant factors.
