Business Development Manager
Location: Remote (must be in the greater Vancouver area)+ travel as needed
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our market presence. Our company specializes in high-performance interconnect solutions, including connectors, cables, and cable assemblies, serving industries such as robotics, automotive, and machine vision.
This role focuses on understanding customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and driving business growth in these sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy.
- Engage with current accounts in the CRM system and proactively identify new opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding needs and delivering customized solutions.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to promote products and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Travel to meet with clients and attend industry events as required.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to uncover growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the machine vision, robotics, or automotive industries.
- Technical background or experience as a Sales Engineer is a strong bonus.
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for business growth.
