Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to guide and manage our quality assurance team, ensuring the highest standards in software quality. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing both manual and automated testing efforts, mentoring QA Analysts, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver error-free products. If you have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and proven leadership abilities, we want to meet you. You will play a critical role in ensuring our products, applications, and systems function flawlessly.


Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA Analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and growth.
  • Review and analyze system specifications to develop comprehensive test strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to ensure alignment on quality goals.
  • Oversee the execution of test cases (both manual and automated) and analyze results to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications and ensure all defects are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Create and maintain detailed logs to document testing phases, defects, and corrective actions.
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
  • Manage the QA process for post-release/post-implementation testing, ensuring any issues are quickly identified and corrected.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the QA process, including the adoption of new tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Ensure quality standards are met throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to delivery.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
  • Proven experience in project management and the ability to lead QA efforts in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing, with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Keen attention to detail, with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving aptitude.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Jira and/or Zeplin, with a solid understanding of digital analytics
