We are growing and need your help We are looking for a QA Lead,, to work with our producers, developers, designers and everyone in between to ensure the best version of Oooh reaches our users. A good candidate will be a self-starter, organized and flexible, able to work fluidly in a small team as fixes and new features arrive daily.


The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team of testers, internal and external, will be a great communicator, both written and verbal, and will be able to discuss issues and their priorities for the daily user to leadership for prioritization. They will imagine and enjoy suggesting additional quality-of-life improvements to the product beyond the design so the user experience can always be its best.


Responsibilities:


  • Leading a team of internal and external testers and be responsible for the quality of their work
  • Creating test plans and strategies for mobile app and website testing
  • Identifying, documenting, and regression testing of defects
  • Participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives
  • Coordinating with internal and external development teams to ensure timely delivery of quality products


Qualifications and Required Experience:


  • Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience working on social apps or mobile games is required.
  • Mobile Social Networking Apps: In-depth knowledge of mobile social networking platforms such as Discord, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and similar applications.
  • Online Content Creation: Extensive experience with online content creation tools, particularly apps like TikTok, and a solid understanding of content platforms such as Twitch and YouTube.
  • Mobile Gaming and Development: Strong familiarity with mobile gaming, including a general understanding of game development processes, especially using the Unity game engine.
  • Mobile Devices: Expertise in mobile devices (Android/iOS), including their hardware, software, and release processes.
