We’re looking for a talented Paid Growth Lead to join our small team of experts at Flywheel and develop and own the analytics and Google search portion of our service. If you’re the right person, you understand that great advertising online is performance-based, and that performance is a function of strategy, creativity, and technical execution.
Flywheel works with some of the world’s top high-growth digital consumer brands, such as lululemon, Good Inside, Willful, and DUER. You’ll work directly with these clients and be responsible for owning the strategy and execution for their paid growth programs. We take a soft-eyes view of what ‘paid growth’ includes. You won’t just be cruising the ad platforms - you’ll manage visuals, provide CRO recommendations, and think strategically about your clients’ CAC to LTV.
Reporting to the Director of Paid Growth, you’ll have the opportunity to build and oversee the analytics and Google Search service function on the Paid team; establishing best practices, scalable processes, and a team-oriented approach to deliver impactful, data-driven results. You’ll manage a small team that we expect to grow over time. This is a full-time, remote-first position, best suited to someone with experience managing 5 and 6 figure monthly budgets.
Responsibilities
The right person has 4-8 years’ experience or equivalent skills in the following:
- Campaign Strategy (planning budgets, determining platform, targets, etc)
- Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, Performance Max)
- Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram)
- Campaign Optimization Best Practices
- CRO Analysis
- Google Analytics Analysis
- Copywriting
- Client communications
Qualifications
Here’s what makes someone great for this role:
- You can manage yourself – that means you’re driven, have strong attention to detail, and understand time management.
- You are a highly capable communicator, able to coordinate effectively with the leadership team, direct reports, clients, and contractors.
- You like managing projects and feel most comfortable when all work has clear timelines and accountabilities.
- You’re entrepreneurial – you’ve had your own website, side project, or business (or would like to)
Bonus points:
- Experience working with Hubspot
- eCommerce/tech/education experience.
- Project management experience.
- Client/account management experience.
- Strong understanding of creative analysis and fundamentals.
- Experience working with creatives and content calendars (e.g. photographer, videographer)
- Other advertising networks (TikTok, LinkedIn, content affiliates, Snap, etc).
- Email marketing experience.
- Graphic design (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc) or photography experience.
The compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000 CAD.
