New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Technical Solution Architect to help our client support major hospital development projects, preparing technical solutions designs that are handed to IT delivery teams to procure, configure, test, and merge into operations.

Responsibilities


  • Oversee the technical intake process to review and evaluate every Builder or client supplied application, equipment type (medical/building), and technology that resides on or connects to the IT technical environment.
  • Work directly with Builder, technology and equipment vendors, and client teams.
  • Core deliverables include the Technical Solution Design and IT Production Turnover documentation.
  • Ensure the other related deliverables are completed including Software Assessment Form, Privacy Impact Assessment, Security Threat Risk Assessment, Core Security Requirements.


Requirements:


  • 10 +years of direct experience in planning, designing, configuring IT technical solutions for Solution Architects and/or Application Owner Teams and/or IMIT Vendors.
  • Experience with broad IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, data networks, IP telephony (VoIP / PBX), wireless networks, and workstation / output devices
  • Experience on large complex multi-faceted projects
  • Collaborator / team player experienced working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Seasoned intuitiveness about personal and team productivity.
  • Ability to turnaround work in quick order and relatively good quality (minimal avoidable rework).
  • Work effectively under time pressure.
  • Prepared to take initiative.
  • Prepared to make long-term commitment.
  • Flexibility to be re-assigned in response to shifting priorities and needs across Capital Projects.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of technology partners.
