What you must bring to this role

* A person with significant experience, has in-depth knowledge, is acquainted with many common problems and knows how to resolve them in a reasonable time frame, knows all technical terms, is aware of the resources available for support (websites, blogs, forums, etc.) and is highly familiar with business intelligence.

** Within the last 10 years.

  • 5 or more years of significant* and recent** experience implementing business intelligence solutions (all stages: from data preparation to data visualization).
  • 5 or more years of significant* and recent** experience gathering, analyzing and monitoring needs of clients (including managers) in a business intelligence context.
  • 3 or more years of significant* and recent** experience creating decision-making dashboards in MS Power BI or Tableau.
  • 3 or more years of significant* and recent** experience in PL/SQL or T-SQL programming (creation of stored procedures, packages, triggers and/or functions).


What you will achieve in this role

  1. Gather, analyze and document client business intelligence needs and recommend solutions.
  2. Conduct preliminary and impact analyses.
  3. Design, develop, implement and update dashboards, reports and data warehouses.
  4. Present the results to the team's clients, collect their feedback and adjust accordingly.
  5. Take part in quality assurance activities.
  6. Extract, model, prepare and analyze data from multiple sources.
  7. Identify key decision-making performance indicators, trends, correlations, anomalies, opportunities and issues and extract meaningful information.
  8. Develop programming specifications, create new codes or modify existing codes.
  9. Write documents: data analysis, technical, user guides, glossaries and other related documents.
  10. Participate in the selection, installation, configuration, testing and modification of business intelligence tools and ensure compliance with norms.
  11. Provide technical advice, provide assistance with dashboards and data warehouses and offer training sessions to the team’s clients.
  12. Be part of project teams and occasionally lead important project components.
  13. Transfer knowledge to internal resources.
