We’re currently searching for an Industrial Designer to join our ambitious team dedicated to elevating Automotive Accessories to new heights As an Industrial Designer at TuxMat, you will collaborate closely with other designers and our Development Team, contributing to various projects spanning from Product Design, Technical Drawings, Product Testing, and more. 


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop new features, designs, patterns in 2D and 3D.
  • Conduct research and stay current on current trends, consumer preferences, design innovations.
  • Create graphic documentation, presentations, and other aids to support products.
  • Sketch concepts and formulate ideas.
  • Apply design thinking in developing new products.
  • Prepare product drawings for overseas vendors to develop and sample.
  • Review product prototype samples for fit, form, and function.
  • Produce detailed, final CAD drawings and specifications for approval.
  • Actively participates in brainstorming sessions and team meetings.


About You:


  • 1-5 yrs. of Product/Industrial Design-related experience, mechanical design/engineering is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with expert skills in Illustrator & Photoshop.
  • Proficient with 3D Modeling in SolidWorks; 3D Scanning experience is an asset.
  • Strong interest in cars or consumer-related products is an asset.
  • Keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, self-starter who enjoys taking ownership and new challenges.
