Job Title: People and Culture Business Partner
Working Model: Hybrid
The People and Culture Business Partner plays a pivotal role in our organization, collaborating closely with leaders and teams to devise and execute human resources strategies that align with business objectives and our core values. This role is instrumental in enhancing our human capital by providing expert guidance across various HR functions such as engagement, staffing, talent management, compliance, employee relations, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of HR programs and processes, providing coaching and guidance on initiatives like Performance Management, Compensation, and Organizational Planning.
- Offer advice and direction to client groups on employment-related matters, including policy interpretation, recruitment strategies, performance management, and training.
- Collaborate with business and Specialist groups on HR initiatives such as performance incentives, learning and development opportunities, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Facilitate proactive dispute resolution and address barriers to success, fostering a performance-driven culture within the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR strategies and practices, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
- Advocate for the interests of employees while adhering to HR policies and legal requirements.
- Provide coaching and support to management on leadership development, talent management, and communication.
- Identify HR and development needs within client groups and lead analysis and diagnosis efforts to address them.
- Establish trust and serve as a confidant and advocate for employees within client groups.
Health and Safety Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain safety certifications and track safety infractions, reporting on trends to inform proactive measures.
- Facilitate joint health and safety committee meetings and maintain accurate records of proceedings.
- Manage Personal Protective Equipment for staff involved in site visits.
Qualifications:
- A combination of education and HR experience, preferably with a CHRP designation or postgraduate degree.
- 5 to 7 years of dynamic HR experience, with a focus on client relationship management.
- Strong interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and facilitation expertise.
- Strategic mindset with excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization and influence decision-making.
- Strong integrity and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
- Dedication to customer service and ability to work autonomously.
- Interest in sustainability considerations for business operations is a plus.
