Overview

Avison Young Lethbridge is the local affiliate office of an industry-leading multinational commercial real estate brokerage firm. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and achieving outstanding results for our clients.

The role of the Associate is to secure new brokerage assignments and generate revenue channels by developing and maintaining a network of clients and prospects. The associate is responsible for representing the interests of their clients in the buying, selling, leasing, and managing of commercial properties through facilitating and brokering the full scope of real estate transactions. The associate is accountable to the highest standards of professionalism and professional standards of the industry.

Responsibilities

Active Commercial Real Estate License will be required. Police Information Check (PIC) as a requirement of the commercial real estate license. Class 5 Driver’s License is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong networking and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to multi-task. Adaptability to new technology, systems, and processes. Ability to work within deadlines and timelines. Ability to keep confidential records and client information. Proficiency in real estate software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Accountabilities

This position works with minimal oversight and is largely self-driven. Accountable to the Brokerage Team as a productive and active member. Accountable to all clients and customers as their representative. Accountable to all professional standards and codes of conduct as described by the Real Estate Council of Alberta.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Office controlled environment; temperature controlled. Travel required. Stationary position for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
