Job Opportunity at REAL-R

We are seeking a skilled and experienced real estate lawyer to join our team at REAL-R. As a real estate lawyer, you will be responsible for providing legal services to clients in the areas of residential purchases and sales, as well as agricultural land transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in real estate matters
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts and deeds
  • Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on changes in real estate law
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including real estate agents and brokers
Requirements:
  • Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
  • A law degree from an accredited law school
  • Minimum one year experience in real estate law, specifically focused on residential purchases and sales
  • Experience in the areas of wills & estates, trusts, and/or corporate law is an asset
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Pride in ethical and professional conduct
  • Willingness to travel or live and work in a rural community
