We are recruiting a Dispatcher, based in the Cambridge, ON area, for our client, a fast-paced and growing transportation company. The ideal candidate will be dedicated and flexible, has strong computer skills and able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities
In the Dispatcher role you will be responsible for:
- Communicating (via phone/text/geotab) with drivers to advise on pick-ups and deliveries.
- Working closely with drivers in the local area to manage day to day activities and meet client needs
- Updating shipment status in the dispatch system and verifying order status
- Determining the best routes and order of pick-ups & deliveries
- Working closely with various internal teams as needed
- Maintaining strong client relationships with the ability to resolve issues and provide timely communication

Qualifications
- A minimum of one year's experience in a trucking, transportation or brokerage industry, preferable with Flatbed knowledge
- A team player who is solution oriented, demonstrates excellent leadership and initiative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, positive attitude and able to work well with others
- Strong geographical knowledge of GTA and surrounding cities, bonus if you're also familiar with the Quebec region
- Willingness to learn
- Access to your own transportation as some travel may be required
