Role Overview:
As a Learning & Development Consultant, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and facilitating a variety of training programs that enhance team member performance and engagement. Reporting to the Manager of Learning & Development, you will leverage your expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning technologies to deliver impactful learning solutions in both virtual and in-person environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Design & Development: Create and maintain engaging training materials (in-person, virtual, and eLearning) tailored to meet the needs of different learning audiences. Ensure all content aligns with business objectives and adult learning principles.
- Program Facilitation: Deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing Customer Service team members, fostering an interactive and supportive learning environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and relevant. Manage project timelines and resources effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather and analyze feedback to refine and improve training content and delivery. Stay updated on industry trends to integrate innovative ideas into training programs.
Education & Experience:
- Must be fluent (written & verbal) in both English & French. Due to the nature of this role, bilingualism (English and French) is a requirement.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, adult learning/education, organizational development, or instructional design is an asset (or equivalent experience will be considered).
- 5+ years corporate facilitation experience in both classroom and virtual environments.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Experienced in performance management and coaching for improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated experience with content development, delivery, maintenance, and learning program stabilization.
- Experienced in an eLearning technology tools and demonstrated ability to learn and apply new tools and innovation.
- Demonstrated project management experience and evidence of successfully leading training projects.
- Proven ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment.
