The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Coordinator is the first point of contact for prospective families and coordinates inquiries, tour and interview bookings while ensuring a welcoming and engaging experience. The successful candidate is responsible for data reporting and analysis, coordinating the student assessment process and for providing administrative support. With strong interpersonal and communication skills the Coordinator engages with prospective students and families, coordinating visits, conducting tours as required, and interviews. The incumbent also coordinates the management of the annual admissions application process leveraging the school’s Enrollment Management System. A key member of the team, the Coordinator also maintains files and databases and participates in on-campus and virtual events ensuring all logistics are well organized.

The Admissions Coordinator collaborates with members of the Admissions team and other stakeholders, internally and externally, while supporting all aspects of enrolment and admissions including the tracking of Admissions decisions, and communicating with the Business Office regarding registration and re-registration data. 

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess post-secondary training in a related area with 3 to 5 years related experience. Experience in an educational setting would be an asset. You will possess advanced computer skills including Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Office as well as knowledge of database software and the ability to manage and analyze data. Familiarity with, or previous use of Blackbaud would be considered an asset. At ease communicating with a range of stakeholders including parents, students, colleagues and external agencies, you are adept at managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment while working both independently as well as part of a team. The ability to adapt to a school environment and understand its unique programming will round out your profile.
