Shift: In-Office, Days Monday-Friday 8 hours

Pay Range: $21.00 - 22.25 / hour

This position is available at our manufacturing facility located in Milton, ON. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  •  Create, confirm and manage requisitions and POs related to maintenance, repair, operations and across all departments.
  •  SAP data entry and administrative duties across all departments as requested. 
  •  Maintain, monitor, generate reports off CMMS software. 
  •  Follow up on open work orders with personnel. 
  •  Develop and process work orders and PM schedules for maintenance department.  
  •  Track equipment maintenance history, parts use and predictive/preventive maintenance history. 
  •  Expedite orders and back orders.  
  •  Negotiate best price contracts with outside vendors. 
  •  Distribution of maintenance materials, spare parts and stock items.  
  •  Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and cost control.  
  •  Support Maintenance Manager in shutdown preparation, project costing, contractor coordination and performance tracking.  
  •  Perform work in a safe and healthy manner. 
  •  Participation in ongoing H&S training, audits etc. 
  •  Maintain PO tracker and monitor monthly expense budget. 
  •  Scanning and filing soft copies of invoices, work orders, reports etc. 
  •  Is flexible to perform other duties as described by your manager 

Skills and Competencies 

  •  High School Diploma required
  •  Post-secondary education in technical field and/or previous work experience in a similar environment is an asset
  •  Experience in plastic Injection moulding industry is an asset
  •  Experience working with CMMS and SAP is an asset
  •  Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
  •  Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization in a professional manner
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially with attention to detail
  •  Self-starting proactive individual, who takes initiative, works well independently or under supervision


Shift Requirements:

  • In-office Days, Monday to Friday with 30-minute paid break.
