**_ Position Summary_**

**_ Shifts Available:_**

This position is scheduled as a condensed work week, **_Monday -Friday (7:30am to 4:00pm)_**, however may require occasionally being available outside of these hours.

**_ Duties & Responsibilities:_**
- Plans, schedules, coordinates, and assigns all frequency and work type maintenance activities for group or team of responsibility.
- Optimizes maintenance team by balancing workload to labor availability partnering with coaches. Planners to spread PMs.
- Supports implementation and execution of Service Channel. Complies with all system standards and specifications to ensure database integrity and standardization.
- Manages asset maintenance parts ordering process for assigned team(s) and optimizes efforts through PM (Preventive Maintenance)
- Collects data and collaborates with operations team to optimize maintenance programs.
- Ensures compliance to CMMS and Maintenance business process, maintains maintenance record standards and specs through periodic data auditing
- Maintains liaison with facilities technicians and other management regarding work execution, necessity of altering schedules and manpower status
- Tracks all asset information, including spare parts and documentation, arranges for special tools and equipment and tracks all asset information, including spare parts, documentation, and Booked Labor
- Continuous improvement of the work planning and scheduling process through the review and use of maintenance metrics, analysis of work order flow, project demands and expectations.
- Cross site coverage - supports other sites and acts as a resource to mentor junior employees. This includes physically visiting other sites as needed.
- Facilitate/Attend team Pass down or Operations meeting to communicate the plan and schedule for the day/week maintenance activities.
- Provides weekly reports to maintenance managers, identifies risks and gaps and provides resolution plans.
- Provides direction for inventory clerk (CMMS Admin). May at times provide support with managing physical inventory, (wall to wall).
- Responsible for coordinating site specific audits related to insurance, city etc.
- Support execution & maintenance of SOPs, toolboxes etc.
- Share ownership for maintenance KPIs, including dashboard data.
- Responsible for handling POs, invoices as required by the role.
- Support in yearly capex/opex budget configuration.
- The position requires trips to other Milton Locations (X3, Halton hills )while based at the main location( M1) (As required for assigned tasks which can be once a week).
- Other relevant duties as assigned.

**Qualification Standards**:

- Experience in planning and scheduling the work of hourly employees using CMMS systems.
- Extensive building systems knowledge, preferably across multiple disciplines including CMMS, Automation and Material Handling.
- Solid personal computer skills: Hardware and software including Microsoft Office Products.
- Leadership skills (training, presentations, & team building) and project management.
- Organizational skills coupled with the leadership and interpersonal skills to be able to manage multiple maintenance activities simultaneously.
- Good oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of management
- College degree and 3 years of experience in planning and scheduling
