As the Team Lead, Customer Data Management, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement customer data and meter management systems and process improvements for the revenue assurance in Water Services. Primary duties include:

Manage a team including recruitment, coaching, development, training, goalsetting, and performance management. Coach and support staff to ensure a continuously learning culture, developing effective and efficient methods that improve the delivery of solutions and incorporate a customer centric systems-thinking mindset. Collaborate with leaders to create and maintain application roadmaps for meter management systems. Ensure that the system, product, or process is functioning effectively and continuously improving to meet the needs of users and their evolving expectations. Reconcile entries and data between vendor and City Meter Data Management and billing data systems to ensure accuracy and address gaps or issues. Analyze and design improvement recommendations and opportunities. Provide direction and guidance to project teams during implementation and execution of major system changes. Utilize meter data to drive operations and maintenance activities and liaise with field staff on work orders, including supporting field staff with troubleshooting the use of meter data management and work order applications. Establish processes that ensures continuous support services or processes to ensure business continuity of critical systems. Develop metrics to monitor the health and usage of the systems. Qualifications  A degree in Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Math, Engineering, Science or a related field. At least 8 years of relevant utility or similar organization experience in areas such as data analytics, data management, customer experience and process improvement. Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.  Success in this role will require demonstrated abilities in:Strategic leadership and strong relationship-building, influencing, and negotiating.Critical thinking and sound decision-making.Proven communication and presentation skills.Change management and issues management.Project management and organization skills using project management principles and guidelines.Business Process Management.
