Manager, Marketing
The Manager, Marketing strategically builds the profile of Holt Renfrew and its product and experience offering through the development of dynamic events at the store, and strong relationships with community partners. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Build team relations that fosters an effective and productive environment
• In conjunction with store management, actively coach and counsel selling teams to reach their fullest potential and maximize business opportunities
• Work with account executive and store management in proactive recruitment and interview for talent selection
• Collaborate in developing education requirements and in-store sessions for each season
• Plan and manage store events and client outreach for the store, in collaboration with the Marketing team
• Develop, manage & report on monthly store budget and return-on-investment (ROI) of store events
• Ensure alignment of national charitable program at local store level, according to guidelines
• Support the execution of marketing events and public relations, including budget allocations, as per guidelines
• Drive the production process on events, partnering with Marketing team on copy and proofreading merchant/regional event print requests
• Develop event concepts and detail in partnership with store management, marketing team, and merchants
• Works with Marketing teams on communication of events and event calendar capacity
• Takes the opportunity to champion specific projects
• Works with the Marketing team on planning and coordination of media attendance at events and interviews (where applicable)
• Manage community relations and marketing outreach programs with community partners (business associations, Tourism, hotels, etc.) to drive traffic into store
• Work with team members, stores, merchants to support local appearance product launches and events
• Develop strategic and tactical marketing plans for a variety of Holt Renfrew services and experiences, including (where applicable) Holts Café, spa & salon, concierge, personal shopping, etc.
• As appropriate, research and suggest appropriate networking opportunities and events to store management
• Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures.
• Support the execution of employee communication programs within the store
• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
The ideal candidate:
• University Degree or Community College Diploma in Business or related discipline
• 5+ years successful marketing, business development experience
• Excellent track record of driving business performance
• 5+ years successful leadership experience
• Affinity for luxury retail
• Dynamic self-starter

• Développe des relations d’équipes qui favorisent un environnement efficace et productif.
• En collaboration avec la direction du magasin, fournit de l’encadrement de façon active et conseille les équipes de ventes afin qu’elles atteignent leur plein potentiel et maximisent les occasions commerciales.
• De concert avec le(la) chargé(e) de projet et la direction du magasin, recrute et passe des entrevues de façon proactive afin de sélectionner les talents.
• Participe à l’établissement des exigences relatives à la formation et aux séances éducatives en magasin à chaque saison.
• Planifie et gère les événements et les initiatives de diffusion à la clientèle pour le magasin en collaboration avec l’équipe du Marketing.
• Développe, gère et produit des rapports sur le budget mensuel du magasin et sur le rendement du capital investi (RCI) pour les événements en magasin.
• Assure l’harmonisation du programme caritatif national au niveau du magasin et en fonction des lignes directrices.
• Appuie l’exécution des événements de marketing et les relations publiques, y compris l’allocation du budget, selon les lignes directrices.
• Administre le processus de production relatif aux événements, collaborant avec l’équipe du Marketing pour réviser les textes et les épreuves relatifs aux demandes de documents imprimés pour les acheteurs/événements régionaux.
• Développe des concepts d’événements et de détail en collaboration avec la direction du magasin, l’équipe du Marketing et les acheteurs.
• Collabore avec l’équipe du Marketing à la communication des événements et à la conception du calendrier des événements.
• Saisit l’occasion d’appuyer des projets spécifiques.
• Travaille avec l’équipe du Marketing à la planification et à la coordination de la participation des médias aux événements et entrevues (selon la pertinence).
• Coordonne les relations et les programmes de diffusion marketing avec les partenaires de la communauté (associations professionnelles, tourisme, hôtels, etc.) pour stimuler l’achalandage en magasin.
• Collabore avec les membres de l’équipe, les magasins et les acheteurs afin d’appuyer les apparitions publiques locales, les lancements de produits et les événements.
• Développe des plans de marketing stratégiques et tactiques pour une variété de services et d’expériences Holt Renfrew, notamment (selon la pertinence) le café holt, le spa et salon, la conciergerie, le shopping personnalisé, etc.
• Selon la pertinence, effectue des recherches et suggère des occasions de réseautage et des événements appropriés à la direction du magasin.
• Appuie l’exécution des programmes de communications aux employés au sein du magasin.

• Plus de 5 années d’expérience éprouvée en développement commercial de marketing
