Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Collaborating with a multidisciplinary research team to develop research hypotheses, design data collection strategies, and interpret study results. Conduct statistical analyses of large-scale population-based health data ( Canadian Community Health Survey) to determine the need for an the utilization of rehabilitation care, and the supply of rehabilitation workforce ( Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists). Coordinate Advisory Committee Meetings. Engaging in knowledge translation activities related to rehabilitation care utilization. Planning, writing papers and presentations for peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Assisting in the preparation and submission of grant proposals.

Required Education:

Ph. D. in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, or relevant field

Required Experience:

Knowledge of observational epidemiology and biostatics. Strong analytical skills and experience with analyzing epidemiological data using statistical software such as SAS, STATA, R, or Python. Experience using ArcGIS for spatial analysis is an asset. Experience in manuscript preparation, publications, and grant proposals. Strong scientific writing and verbal communication skills in English. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, responsible, and team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

This position falls within the bargaining unit represented by the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and will be subject to the terms and conditions of the collective agreement between the University and PSAC. The collective agreement may be found on the Human Resources section of our website.
