Job summary

As a customer care representative, you will communicate with customers via phone and e-mail.You will enter customer orders, and assist customers withstock checks, pricing requests and general inquiries. You will be using an AS400 based system as well as web-based applications. You will provide assistance to our outside sales team and will work with our supply chain and distribution partners. Your position requires an ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Core responsibilities:

Process customer orders on web based and BPCS (AS400) system. Respond to internal and external customer inquiries in a timely manner. Expedite and sourceproduct to ensure that customer requirements are met. Deliver above and beyond customer service in a fast-pacedenvironment. Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate customer needs.

Qualifications:

3-5 years’ experience in customer relations Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and multi-task Proven people skills Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships A high degree of emotional intelligence and business integrity Willingness to be a team player while working independently with little direction Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills Familiarity with MS Office Applications University degree or college diploma preferred
