The Opportunity

Our Controlled Document Sustainability team is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Houston, TX, Charleston, WV or Calgary, AB to support our growing needs.

The Controlled Document Sustainability Analyst will coordinate the Controlled Document Library process and ensure the organization is prepared to implement all document changes. This role will report to the Controlled Document Sustainability Team Leader.

What you'll do

Facilitate a process that includes a broad group of stakeholders across TC Energy and to bring issues to closure with appropriate support and buy-in Complete sound business analysis for each document to include:Understand budgetary impacts to work management programs (if applicable)Understand the level of change prescribed by each documentEnsure development and completion of communication strategies and implementation plans (I.e., emails, info sessions, LMS (Learning Management System), etc.)Ensure appropriate stakeholders are involved in document review, implementation planning and approval process Ensure appropriate quality, consistent efforts are executed related to:Performing impact assessmentCommunication of impacts and changesTraining related to new or revised documentsImplementation tasksEndorsement by broad group of stakeholders Sustain the CDS -defined processes including:Further refine specific processes within CDL Governance FrameworkIdentify, lead and track opportunities for continual improvement When identifying issues requiring resolution and follow-up, keep a log and ensure items are investigated to understand root cause and appropriate closureContinue to evaluate the process to increase the user acceptance of both process and system Facilitate Endorsement Process Coordinate with Document Change Coordinators and Document Contacts Foster continuous improvement of documents, process, and systems May need to lead efforts of external contractors (I.e., Technical Writers) Work with IM to get documents published Maintain a dashboard of performance metrics and provide monthly updates  Create and maintain process training documents Train and communicate to all CDL stakeholders to ensure their duties in the process are understood and can be carried out effectively and timely Ensure the accuracy of the CDL document population, working with IM as necessary Develop necessary tools to aid in performing the job responsibilities Lead and attend meetings Other tasks as required

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university Minimum 2+ years of related experience Demonstrated strong business acumen Proficiency with Microsoft applications with an emphasis on Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, Microsoft Access, and Word Strong ability to follow-up and monitor status of documents in review process Drive and commit to achieve goals and business results Excellent time management and organizational skills; works independently and makes informed and collaborative decisions Ability to apply business knowledge and awareness of company to involve the right stakeholders in review process Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and communications with stakeholders and Document Owners

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with SharePoint Office 365 and SAP Knowledge in the natural gas (and the overall energy) industry
