Maintenance Manager
Our client is a manufacturing companyand industry leader in the healthcaresector in Regina Saskatchewan and they are looking fora driven Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager will overseethe maintenance department ensuring that all machinery andequipment operate efficiently to support production. This role isessential for maintaining high standards of quality and safetywithin the manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have astrong background in industrial maintenance leadership experienceand a commitment to continuous improvement.
KeyResponsibilities
- Leadand manage the maintenance team ensuring timely and effectivemaintenance of all equipment andmachinery.
- Develop and implement maintenanceschedules and procedures to ensure optimal operation and minimaldowntime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanicalelectrical and operational issues.
- Ensure allmaintenance work is performed in accordance with quality standardsand established safety procedures.
- Managemaintenance budgets including the procurement of parts andequipment.
- Conduct regular inspections andaudits to identify areas for improvement.
- Trainand mentor maintenance staff fostering a culture of safetyefficiency and continuousimprovement.
- Collaborate with other departmentsto support production needs and companygoals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance recordsand reports.
- Other related duties asrequired.
Qualifications
- Education or degree in engineering industrialmaintenance or a related field ispreferred.
- InterProvincial Red Sealcertification or Journeyman Certificate in a relevant trade is anasset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience inindustrial maintenance.
- Strong knowledge ofmechanical electrical and automatedsystems.
- Excellent problemsolving andtroubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability tomanage budgets and resourceseffectively.
- Excellent communication andleadership skills.
- Attention to detail andhighquality standards.
- Positive attitude andselfstarter.
