We are in search of a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team situated in Midland, Ontario. Your role will be centred around ensuring patients' needs are met efficiently and effectively. This includes coordinating with specialists, maintaining electronic records, and providing outstanding customer satisfaction. This position offers a contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:

• Establish connections between patients and relevant specialists

• Create a welcoming environment for patients within the office

• Collect and maintain patient information in an organized manner

• Address general inquiries presented within the office

• Maintain and update electronic and printed records as required

• Support other team members as needed

• Schedule and coordinate appointments, ensuring smooth operations

• Prioritize customer satisfaction through exceptional service and communication.


• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or in healthcare administration
• Proficiency in Customer Service and Communication
• A proven track record of achieving high levels of Customer Satisfaction
• A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in using healthcare software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulations
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required
• Bilingual or multilingual skills would be an asset.
