POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Coordinator , a member of the National Talent team, is located in the Edmonton office. The Talent Coordinator provides effective client service and delivery to all Dentons members. This role is accountable for responding to internal inquiries, providing confidential support to the Talent team and for the maintenance of data in electronic files and in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role maintains strict confidentiality of all information and works in collaboration and in a backup up capacity within Talent to facilitate seamless service for our internal clients.
Generally, the hours of work for this role will be Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; due to the nature of the role, some flexibility may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIREMENTS
Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Human Resources Management; working toward CPHR designation considered an asset. 2-3 years of HR administrative experience and exposure to Human Resources Information Systems considered an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels within the Firm. Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail. Consistently meet the needs of clients in high volume and fast paced environment. Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly and to ensure they are clearly communicated to an audience. Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented. Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships. A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills. Politically and culturally sensitive. Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills. High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts. Experience using Microsoft office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with Success Factors considered an asset. Bilingualism (French/English) considered an asset.
