The opportunity:
MT Talent is proud to partner with an award-winning distributor of safety supplies in the food, industrial and healthcare industries. For over 25 years they have consistently exceeded customers expectations of quality and service while expanding their business to multiple distribution facilities and a brand new manufacturing facility.
As they continue to grow, they are looking to add an Inside Sales Specialist to their team. This role is based out of the Concord, Ontario head office.
What’s in it for you:
What you’ll be doing in the role:
Use the CRM system to administer all customer activities and follow-ups. Independently adheres to weekly schedule for assigned portfolio of contacts, accounts and outside Sales Group to build customer awareness and generate sales opportunities. Regularly communicate with National accounts across Canada, being the point person for communication with this customer group. Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails into the Assigned Customers. Ensure customers are aware of programs or promotional opportunities being offered, understand their needs and requirements, and ensure CRM is updated. Close sales and achieve assigned targets. Establish a prospecting plan to research accounts, identify key players and generate interest. Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory. Grow sales pipeline and close opportunities. Perform effective online demos to prospects, and training to customers where appropriate. Provide product samples and follow up. Understand customer pain points, obstacles for success and formulate action plans to advance sales opportunities.
What you bring to the role:
Must have advanced verbal and written skills in both French and English. Strong team player and a positive attitude. Solid computer skills including MS Office, CRM and a willingness to new software. Must be outgoing sociable, able to relate to customers and employees effectively. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, a resourceful and critical thinking personality. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail. Demonstrated experience with, and understanding of, the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
