Position Description:

The Manager, Organizational Development supports organizational developmentprojects in areas of community engagements, employee events, talent programs,program development and advisory. Reporting to the Senior Manager,Organizational Development, the incumbent partners with Talent team members andother People and Culture teams to develop and implement organizationaleffectiveness programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Program Development and Integration
Supports and leads parts of the development of a comprehensive Employer Value Proposition and Employer Brand that positions George Brown College as a leader in inclusive and equitable workplaces.
Leads the creation and management of talent profiles to support talent management initiatives.
Supports the introduction and embedding of the College Values.
Cultural Strengthening and Employee Engagement
Designs and delivers leadership development programs in partnership with the Learning team, including mentoring and high-potential skill programs, to foster employee growth and prepare future leaders.
Develops community engagement activities to foster ongoing feedback and process optimization. Supports strategic programs and initiatives that align with strengthening employee engagement.
Data-Driven Insights and Continuous Improvement
Supports various programs with analytics, metrics, and reporting to ensure data-driven decisions are made with a lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Feedback Mechanisms and Process Optimization
Develops and administers exit/stay and new hire surveys to gather feedback and refine the onboarding and offboarding processes.
Integrates IDEII principles with People and Culture initiatives to ensure alignment and coherence across all programs.
Vendor Management for Organizational Development programs and consultation initiatives.
Development of program collateral, including process maps, standard operating procedures, reports, tools for users, communication documents and training materials as it relates to the Organizational Development Programs.
Other duties as assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

Four-year degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Post-grad program or Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology, Organization Development, Human Resources, or related field would be an asset.
CHRL or equivalent experience is required.
Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in organizational development, with a focus on employee engagement and organizational health.
Demonstrated experience in design and implementation of programs to enhance employee engagement and professional development.
Experienced in leading large-scale organizational change initiatives.
Experienced in leveraging psychological assessments to improve workplace practices and inform inclusive talent management strategies.
