Responsibilities

: Speaking with internal employees regarding their concerns Offer recommendations to solve employee concerns Collaborate with managers to source solutions for employees Develop strategies and employee engagement programs Manage accurate records of employee files Building and implementation of new policies with management Review policies to assure compliance with management Strategize on new methods for employee engagement Working within HR legislation to assure compliance Prepare recognition communications Manage onboarding process including documents and required paperwork for new hire packages Handle employee requests and manage employee relationships Offer support and guidance to employees with internal issues and concerns Assist with training & development Maintaining electronic filing system & personnel documents

Required Skills:

Must be bilingual - French/English as you will be working with QC employees who do not speak English 1-3 years experience within an HR role ideal focused around employee best practises Experience working within a start up HR Department would be an asset Experience managing Recruitment process from job posting to onboarding Understanding of Canada Labour Code and ESA regulations University or College Education, preferably within an HR focused course CHRP Designation is an added bonus Strong understanding of Ontario employment laws and best practices Ability to multi-task and work closely with management when required Strong communication skills to roll out new processes when required Ability to manage projects and timelines
