Our client, a prominent insurance company based in Mississauga, is seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various Human Resources functions and working closely with the organization. They will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, focusing on employee relations, planning, implementing and evaluating human resources policies, programs and practices.

• Participates in the recruitment process.

• Lead the performance management process.

• Acts as a resource for employees, supervisors, and managers.

• Recommends, creates, and administers HR policies.

• Manages employee relation calls and letters; ensuring each issue is resolved fairly and according to employment law guidelines as well as company policy.

• Ensures compliance with various legislation.

• Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of HR experience.

• Experience using HRIS systems is an asset.

• Experience in the Insurance industry is an asset.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
