- Lead and manage municipal infrastructure projects, including transportation, water, and sewer design.
- Collaborate with an integrated team of engineers, technologists, and support staff to deliver innovative solutions for municipal clients.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior and intermediate staff, helping them navigate project challenges and develop professionally.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring that project deliverables align with client expectations while fostering long-term business relationships.
- Take the lead in developing competitive proposals to secure new projects and business opportunities.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Engage in business development activities to expand the client base and secure future work.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Manage project risk, troubleshooting issues as they arise and ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish.
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- 8-10 years of experience in municipal infrastructure, encompassing transportation, water, and sewer design.
- A proven track record of managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects within a municipal or civil engineering context.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff and foster a positive, collaborative team culture.
- Experience in business development and proposal preparation.
- Strong client management and communication skills.
- A passion for creating sustainable and high-quality infrastructure solutions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A professional engineering designation (P.Eng.) or the ability to obtain one in the near future is preferred.
