About Our Client:
Adecco is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Warranty & Field Technician to oversee our client's residential low-rise construction projects. Based in Edmonton, our client is one of Canada's top home developers, currently building 13 communities across the Edmonton region.

Job Overview:
As a Warranty Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the ongoing satisfaction of homeowners by addressing warranty-related issues and performing necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
This position requires a blend of technical "repairs" expertise, customer service skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Warranty Management: Handle incoming warranty requests from homeowners, assess issues promptly, and coordinate timely resolution of defects or deficiencies according to company policies and industry standards.
  • Field Inspections: Conduct detailed inspections of homes under warranty to identify areas requiring repair or maintenance, documenting findings accurately.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform skilled repairs and adjustments to various home systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work as needed to resolve warranty issues.
  • Customer Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with homeowners throughout the warranty process, providing updates on the status of repairs and ensuring their satisfaction with completed work.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep thorough records of all warranty-related activities, including inspections, repairs, and homeowner interactions. Prepare detailed reports for internal review and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in residential construction or home maintenance, with specific experience in warranty services preferred.
  • Strong technical skills in various trades such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing homeowner concerns.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with homeowners and internal team members.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
