What We Are Looking For:

Are you a recent graduate looking for a full-time opportunity to grow in the Legal field, meet new people and hone your skills? Then look no further Aird & Berlis LLP is looking for a recent graduate from a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Program who is detail oriented and self-motivated. The successful candidate will be administratively supporting our Summer / Articling Law School Students in various practice areas throughout the firm. 

Responsibilities:

Manage the administrative needs for a number of Summer / Articling Law School Students Prepare and complete all necessary legal documentation Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients Handle administrative details with respect to correspondence, accounting, expenses etc. Able and willing to work in a variety of different practice areas Produce the highest quality of work Accountable for all work assigned Take initiative Confidential

Requirements:

Successful completion of a post-secondary program in a Legal Assistant and/or Law Clerk program Handle time pressure situations and stress of multiple demands

Skills:

Microsoft Suite of Applications Strong verbal and written communication Ability to problem solve Good judgement and decision making Strong interpersonal skills Organised Resourceful Detailed
