Fort McMurray, Canada Civeo Full time

Civeo Services Employees LP is currently seeking a Lodge Manager for its facilities located in northern Alberta. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will oversee and manage the day-to-day lodge operations. This position will be on a rotation basis 15 days on / 13 days off as required by the business. 

Key Responsibilities

Achieve profit targets. Create sales strategies and targets. Participate in monthly forecasting.  Record and monitor contractual KPIs.  Maintain quality assurance and control of all lodge operations.  Ensure productivity goals are met. Establish performance standards and expectations. Oversee the recruitment, mentorship and development of direct reports.  Develop and maintain superior customer relations. Respond to issues in a timely and professional manner.  Ensure compliance with Federal and Provincial licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations. Lead and develop a safety culture. 

Qualifications  

5+ years of progressive experience in hotel and food services management. Class 5 Operator’s License, with a 5- year driving record satisfactory to Civeo’s driving criteria.  Proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Exceptional leadership and management skills. Experience in managing a unionized work force. Knowledge of remote lodge operations is an asset.  Self- motivated in managing a facility thru initiative and innovation to achieve results in a safe and profitable manner. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interaction with clients, guests and staff Conflict resolutions skills.  Aptitude to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve challenging goals. Superior oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to solve problems logically, and make decisions in unique situations.  Must be abele to pass a pre-access Drug & Alcohol test.
