Tomlinson Environmental Service’s provides sustainable solutions for Eastern Ontario's commercial, industrial, institutional and construction customers. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic  Sales Representative for our solid waste division. The primary responsibility of this sales role will be to continue to grow our customer base within an assigned territory. If you are successful with managing your time and prioritizing activities to satisfy customers and prospects, you could be the perfect fit for our team.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect new business while providing excellent customer service and sales skills to maintain an existing book of business. Generate new successes by meeting clients and by visiting new prospects. Exceed or meet sales call activity goals for new sales using Salesforce. Maintaining and establishing a high level of customer satisfaction. Ability to communicate to and work with the sales manager to resolve unique customer issues. Provide customers with full environmental solutions while analyzing their needs. Report on sales/pricing activities to identify risks and opportunities related to the environmental services markets and other Tomlinson business interests. Actively promote all Tomlinson services.

Requirements

5+ years sales experience with demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing sales targets. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a time-sensitive environment. Ability to assess accounts and provide viable cost-effective solutions for customers. Be a proactive problem solver with a sense of urgency and follow up. Exceptional negotiation and written and/oral communication. Strong new business development skills. Bilingual – nice to have skill. Experience in creating Customer Service Agreements/contracts. Clean driving record. Ability to assess accounts and provide viable cost-effective solutions for clients. Salesforce experience preferred. Complete adoption of this tool and resource is required.
