Position Overview
Reporting to the Regional Manager – Therapy Services, the Audiologist provides leadership in the care of clients contributing to the assessment, planning, development, organization, implementation and evaluation of all aspects of care related to the profession of Audiology in accordance with the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics as set out for Audiology by the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Manitoba.
Experience
Previous experience in the field of Audiology preferredEducation (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Master’s Degree in Audiology from an accredited post-secondary institution Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba Eligibility for membership in Speech-Language and Audiology CanadaQualifications and Skills
Skilled ability in the assessment, identification, and treatment of clients of varying ages and with diverse diagnoses Strong organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbalPhysical Requirements
Must be in good physical and mental health and be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time without resting. Must be able to work under stress and time constraints. This position is subject to a Criminal Records Check (including vulnerable sector), Adult Abuse Registry Check, and a Child Abuse Registry Check. The successful candidate will be responsible for any services charges incurred.
