JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking an Internal Wholesaler to join our Sales team. In this role, the successful candidate will support the development of Assante’s product offerings and sales, marketing and customer service strategies for Financial Advisors and Insurance Agents.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Perform pro-active call and sales campaigns to promote Assante’s product offerings to existing and potential clients Generating referrals for your respective wholesalers Perform account management and customer service duties for established clients Respond to inquiries on products, fund management strategies, portfolio manager philosophies/processes/styles and industry trends Develop sales campaigns and materials and assist in the delivery of sales presentations  Assist in responses to due diligence questionnaires Perform (monthly, quarterly, etc.) territorial sales and asset reporting Collect client and competitor information from Internet and other sources Work closely with and support efforts of other team members Assist in administrative functions as required


WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Post-secondary education Financial services designations (e.g. CSC, CFP, CIM, CFA) Minimum 2 years financial services industry experience Requires sound knowledge of securities, mutual fund products, and investment industry Excellent PC skills – esp. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in managing relationships with clients  Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills to provide effective solutions for clients
