Veterinarian, DVM

Location: Whitby, ON

Flexible Schedule, Full-time or Part-time

VCA Canada MacKay Animal Hospital nestled in the Durham region, welcomes a Veterinarian, DVM to join our team.

Further opportunity for an experienced DVM with 5+ years; welcome to apply for Lead DVM, Medical Director role.

As a successful candidate, you understand the importance of building relationships with our pet parents and our support team, to provide the best care possible. With a full collaborative support team we nurture flexible schedules (full-time or part-time) to foster a balanced lifestyle

A valid full veterinarian license; allowing practice in Ontario

Experience in; soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice.

Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices

Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and community

A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey

Interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues

A love for all companion animals
