The Role:

Our Warranty & Service Coordinators are responsible for enhancing the Shane Homes experience by providing prompt, friendly service to our customers from pre-possession throughout the warranty period. As the first point of contact for our homeowners during their warranty period, our service team is in the business of making living in your home stress free and enjoyable.

You are an energetic, positive, service-oriented person who has a passion for wowing your customers. You have excellent communication skills and are excited to build relationships and be a part of bringing someone’s dream to life.

The Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver an exceptional experience to our customers, creating raving fans

Receive calls and emails from our homeowners, document concerns and own the solution.

Provide guidance and education regarding the maintenance and operations of our homes to our customers.

Schedule appointments with our homeowners and maintain the schedules of our Service and Warranty Technicians.

Various administrative tasks including but not limited to updating our CRM system to reflect service history, contacting homeowners to schedule appointments promptly, and sending work orders to our trade partners.

Work with and maintain relationships with sub-trades and suppliers including coordination of repairs.

Knowledge and experience in residential construction and comfort navigating various customer inquiries.

The Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years of customer service experience – while experience in residential construction is not required, it is an asset. However, a willingness to learn about the homebuilding industry is integral 

Ability to interact with homeowners in a calm, patient and positive demeanor under all circumstances

Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (experience working with a CRM or service scheduling system is an asset)

Enthusiastic, positive, and self-motivated

Ability to multi-task and work within a team in a fast-paced environment

A natural problem solver who doesn’t hesitate to think outside the box

Willingness to learn and embrace change
